Since we decided to get married, we’ve visited the mall roughly twice a week scouring for decorating ideas/goods for our new home.
And every time….
We came back empty-handed.
It was the most mind-boggling thing for both of us because we both needed to and wanted to purchase something but nothing was needed or purchased.
Yesterday we changed our regular habit of returning empty-handed and bought….

Matching NIKE shoes for the first time.
It felt gooood and guilty at the same time.
Did we need NIKE shoes? No.
Did we want NIKE shoes? No. But we bought them anyways. Maybe that’s why it felt and definitely that’s why we felt guilty.
Spending money and then feeling guilty for it.
